Author's Note:

Clothing can often serve as an identity, but it can also serve as a detriment to others. Upon realizing your queerness, there may be a sense that the person you truly are and the person you must be are incongruent. This short story offers a small anecdote from my own personal experience with clothing and my own identity: an exploration on how compulsive heteronormativity can negative impact transgender people as well.
